Sony Cyber-Shot review

Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-HX5 review : Although its appearance doesn’t betray it, the Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-HX5 is unique in its kind. In the first place, the Sony HX5 distinguishes itself with its image sensor. While 99% of compact cameras are equipped with a standard CCD sensor, the Sony DSC-HX5 is equipped with a so-called back-illuminated CMOS sensor. Additionally, this compact camera has a 10x optical zoom lens with a 25m wide angle, optical SteadyShot, AVCHD Full HD video (1920x1080 pixels) and the impressively performing Sweep Panorama function.

According to Sony, a follow-up of the Sony Alpha will certainly be introduced this year. Quickly rumors have spread about the beginner level model: the Sony Alpha 290.
