CasioCasio Exilim EX-FC150 digital camera : We are amazed to see Casio introducing a new Exilim camera exclusively onto the Japanese market. The Casio Exilim EX-FC150 is the successor to the EX-FC100, and hence shares many of the applied functions and features. The Casio Exilim EX-FC150 digital camera features a new CMOS sensor with an improved signal/noise quality. The new Casio Exilim camera belongs to the High Speed cameras, and therefore supports fast consecutive shots to as much as 1,000 fps. As a result, Casio continues stand out from the masses, although you do wonder how many consumers would actually appreciate a feature like this. The Casio EX-FC150 has an effective image resolution of 10 Megapixels.

The Casio Exilim EX-FC150 features a 5x optical zoom range, just like its predecessor. The Casio Exilim camera has gained some resolution, and goes up from 9 to 10 Megapixels. The compact dimensions of the Casio EX-FC150, a mere 99.8 x 58.5 x 28.8 mm, do not give away its excellent performance when it comes to action photography. The user can actually set the amount of pictures he wants to take in burst mode, after which the Casio Exilim camera is able to pick out the best pictures automatically. It is also possible to combine several pictures from a burst session into one picture.

It is also possible to change the capture speed to 240 frames per second during video recording, just pressing the button once.

Our Casio contact has just notified us of the fact that the Casio EX-FC150 digital camera will be available on the Japanese market only. The Casio Exilim EX-FC100 was introduced worldwide at the Consumer Electronics Show in 2009, perhaps the same thing will happen to the FC150, or maybe the European and American market will be presented with an entirely new Exilim camera. As soon as we receive more information about the availability of the Casio Exilim EX-FC150, this article will be updated.
